Join us on a textual journey exploring the big questions of our day, namely: Why should we, as American Reform Jews, have a connection and relationship with Israel? And, What does it mean to be a Zionist in today’s contemporary reality? We will study and learn together to develop our own language around Israel, Zionism, and Peoplehood and challenge each other through questions that arise from our texts. This session will be taught by guest teacher Rabbi Jonathan Cohen, senior Rabbi at The Temple-Tifereth Israel in Beachwood, OH.
